About the Course
Master’s in Science in Mathematics is a 2 years post-graduate course offered by IIMT Aligarh. This course is a preferred choice amongst students who are inclined towards calculation and numeracy and desirous of making their career in this subject. Mathematics is the science of the order, relation, and structure invented from basic exercises of counting, measuring, and describing the natures of objects. It deals with quantitative calculation and logical reasoning, and its advancement has involved a growing degree of idealism and abstraction of the subject matter. Mathematics has been an imperative addendum to the technology and physical sciences since the 17th century, and in more modern times, it has presumed a similar character to the quantitative traits of the life sciences.

The candidates gain a deeper awareness of advanced mathematics via a vast preference for subjects such as accurate analysis, topology, theory of ordinary differential equation, complex analysis, discrete mathematics, numerical techniques, number theory, etc. During this course, applicants learn to assemble big data and analyze them with the help of different methods. At the end of the course, the students can proficiently utilize and integrate mathematical theorem and formulas to resolve real-world issues.
Eligibility:
The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
