Department of Teacher Education
Department of Teacher Education made a modest beginning in the year 2003. Under the umbrella of Teacher Education, we are running three courses, i.e., Bachelor of Education( B.Ed.) Mater of Education(M.Ed.), Diploma of Elementary Education. D.El.Ed. It aims at preparing effective primary school teachers. NCTE and SCERT approved this program in the year 2011. Department of Teacher Education was recognized by UGC under 2(1) in 2008 and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2012. Department has started Master of Education approved by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University in 2016. These courses aim at preparing Teacher Educators for various levels of Education. It focuses on the comprehensive and integrated professional development of teachers and other personnel engaged in Education.
