Training and Placement Cell

We at IIMT, Aligarh, very well understand that the Training & Placement Cell has an important role to play in a student’s career and is an indispensable pillar of any institute. Our IIMT, Aligarh’s Training and Placement Cell, continuously strives to help students pursue their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately attaining desired employment. This is accomplished through building a strong partnership amongst students, alumni, faculty members, and industries.

Objectives of the Training & Placement Cell

  1. To support students in developing or clarifying their academic and career interests and their short- and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.
  2. To provide guidance to the students for the development of soft skills.
  3. To develop a bridge between colleges and industries for students.
  4. To increase awareness amongst current students about placement opportunities in industries and the various skill sets required for the jobs.
  5. To determine opportunities for Management, IT, Commerce, Applied Science graduate and Post Graduate students in various related sectors.
  6. To identify the areas of interest and place the students accordingly in organizations or institutes.
